Posting DVDs through letter box

Im trying to sell my DVD'S on ebay but with postage and ebay fee is its 
dfeat
hard to make a profit.

Probably a stupid question but is it

illegal to post the DVD is through a letter box?

Not in the U.S. If that is where you are at. Netflix which  
Sexy Beast
sends out movies on DVD is does it all the time.
