If you wait outside of a postal box, will the postal worker give you the letter back that you dropped inside

l mailed several letters today (sunday) at a postal box outside the local

grocery store and now to my horror l need to put in some paperwork l

forgot. If l were to stand outside and wait for the worker, tell him which

No, they have no way of really knowing if you are the one who  
cuppin cakes
sent it, regardless of the return address. Mail must be delivered to the

addressee and if they can not they will return it by their regular means.
